Leonie’s career started in reception and administration positions, but she quickly realised that sitting behind a desk wasn’t for her.
She then pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science, double majoring in Wildlife Biology and Veterinary Technology and Management.
A rewarding adventure in animal care
Soon after graduating, Leonie began her career in the veterinary specialist industry. She worked as a nurse for a veterinary ophthalmology practice, where she stayed for 19 years.
Moving to the CSS team
Her next career move was joining the team at CSS. Leonie likes the variety of medicine cases she gets to nurse at CSS and loves caring for all the cats.
When she’s not at work, Leonie is an avid reader and enjoys all kinds of arts and crafts pursuits. At home, she has two dogs and two cats.
