Consultations

The most cat-friendly environment possible

Our consultation rooms are specifically designed to make your cat feel safe and secure. We provide warm, non-slip bedding that helps your cat settle in, and there’s plenty of space for them to explore if they feel comfortable enough to roam.

Whether they prefer to stay in their carrier or jump up to higher areas, we create a stress-free environment to help them relax. We understand a hospital visit can be overwhelming for many cats and strive to minimise anxiety as much as possible.

What can I expect in a feline medicine consultation?

During your cat’s medical consultation, we’ll begin by reviewing a health questionnaire, which you can complete beforehand or on the day of your visit. This provides us with important details about your cat’s health and habits, including their favourite foods.

Consultations take place in our dedicated cat-friendly room, where your cat can safely explore and settle in. Every cat is weighed upon arrival. Next, our feline clinicians will discuss your cat’s condition while giving them time to adjust to the environment. The physical examination is conducted in a way that suits your cat’s comfort, whether that’s on the table, floor, or the clinician’s lap. For older cats, we may also measure their blood pressure with your help to reduce anxiety.

Cat’s medical consultation

What happens next?

After the clinician completes the history and physical examination, they will explain the potential causes of your cat’s condition and outline the necessary investigations. Depending on the urgency, these tests may be conducted the same day or at a later stage that works for you.

You will receive a cost estimate, and your cat will either be admitted to the hospital or discharged. If admitted, we will notify you via SMS when a procedure is scheduled, and the clinician will contact you after it’s completed. While updates may come later in the evening, we will always discuss the findings with you.

Patient Stories

Our commitment to feline health is best seen in the stories of the cats we’ve had the privilege of treating. These journeys highlight the dedication, expertise and compassion that drive us.

Each patient faced unique challenges, and it was our honour to offer high-quality care and help them regain strength and happiness. We value the deep bonds with cats and their owners, knowing the difference we make in their lives.
