Nurses

We routinely offer training days for nurses and trainees to enhance their skills in feline care. Participants can expect a hands-on learning experience, where they will observe, assist and perform appropriate handling and minor procedures, including Doppler blood pressure monitoring, catheter placement and learn blood sampling techniques.

Training also includes opportunities to observe consultations (if appropriate) and advanced medical procedures such as ultrasound, CT, endoscopy and rhinoscopy. Additionally, trainees will monitor inpatients under the guidance of our CSS nurses and engage with both inpatients and medical boarding patients, providing a well-rounded introduction to cat care in a veterinary setting.
