A feline-focused seminar for vets, vet students and new grads, sponsored by RCW & Vetoquino.
Attendees will refine their approach to diagnosing hyperthyroidism and managing feline diabetes, with practical guidance on interpreting thyroid results and incorporating newer diabetic therapies into everyday practice.
This seminar centres on two clinically relevant topics in feline medicine: diagnostic challenges in hyperthyroidism and practical updates in diabetic management.
Seeing Past the T4 examines common diagnostic pitfalls in feline hyperthyroidism, with emphasis on interpreting thyroid results in context and recognising cases where total T4 alone may be misleading.
Senvelgo in the Real World provides updates and shared clinical experiences with SGLT2 use in diabetic cats, offering practical insight into how this therapy is being incorporated into everyday practice.
Feline endocrine disease often requires careful interpretation and thoughtful management. Borderline laboratory results, concurrent illness and evolving treatment options can complicate straightforward decision-making.
This seminar is designed to help you approach hyperthyroid and diabetic cases with greater diagnostic precision and therapeutic confidence, grounded in current clinical discussion and real-world application.
“Thank you for the wonderful day of all things cats. I am at the opposite end of my career compared with most attendees, but still like to keep in touch with new developments, even if I am just managing my two felines.” – Previous Participant
All attendees will receive practical reference material to support clinical decision-making in feline endocrine cases.
