Specialist Small Animal Surgeon
Nick grew up in Canberra and graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Sydney in 2008.
He completed a 12-month rotating internship at Veterinary Specialist Services (VSS) in 2009 and then spent the next 7 years working in general practice in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
This included stints teaching at the University of Sydney in Camden and the Royal Veterinary College in London, as well as volunteering for animal shelters in Botswana and Greece.
Nick returned to VSS in 2016 and completed his surgical residency in 2019.
He is a Fellow of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists and a registered specialist in small animal surgery.
Nick is actively involved in training veterinary students and veterinarians. Nick has worked with the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists as an examiner for both the Membership and Fellowship examinations in Small Animal Surgery.
He enjoys all aspects of surgery but has a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, arthroscopy and interventional radiology.
