Cert IV Veterinary Nurse
Shelley has had a deep love for cats from a young age and always envisioned a career in vet nursing.
After graduating from university in 2000, she began her professional journey at a cat-only vet clinic, where she completed her certificate in veterinary nursing.
Following a decade at the clinic, she transitioned to a multi-animal practice, where she applied her cat handling skills and promoted cat-friendly nursing techniques.
Another ten years and two children later, Shelley joined the feline team at VSS in January 2022, seizing the opportunity to focus exclusively on feline care.
Outside of work, Shelley enjoys spending time with her partner and two daughters, along with their two dogs, Domino and Torvi, two cats, Autumn and Meadow, a Stimpsons python named Noodle, and Milo the cockatiel.
She also manages several aquariums.
Shelley’s hobbies include outdoor activities, reading, crafts and colouring for relaxation. She is also famous for baking treats for CSS team birthdays.
