Meet Dr Wan-Ju Jao

Feline Medicine Resident 
BSc BVMS MANZCVS (Medicine of Cats)

Wan-Ju was born and raised in Taiwan. She completed her studies at Murdoch University and then moved to Hong Kong, where she worked as a small animal GP vet for 18 months.

Upon returning to Australia, she was based in Adelaide, working in a small animal GP and emergency clinic. There, she managed a variety of emergency cases, which honed her skills and broadened her experience.

Areas of interest

Wan-Ju has a strong interest in analgesia, diagnostic imaging and feline behaviour, with a particular enthusiasm for advancing her knowledge and skills in feline medicine.

When she’s not at work at Cat Specialist Services...

Outside of work, Wan-Ju enjoys travelling, hiking, reading and playing video games, particularly the Zelda series, which she is a huge fan of.

Fluent in English and Mandarin, she also has a good understanding of Cantonese and Japanese.
